Dr. Elham Farahani, Dean-Department of English Language at Mofid University, has informed: " Collaborative online international learning(COIL) educational method is held by efforts of Mofid University English Language Department in partnership with Kansai University in Japan."

The purpose of this educational method is to internationalize teaching university courses via Internet. By using this method, professors at universities around the world who have the same or similar courses, are capable to cooperate with each other and held their classes via internet.
The process is that before the start of the semester, the professors prepare a common course syllabus and set some assignments and duties for students which requires group work among students of the two country and using English language.
