Seyed Ziaoddin Kiaolhosseini (born 1961, Gorgan) is an Assistant professor of MU’s Department of Economics. He received a Bachelor's degree in "Theoretical Economics" in 1994, A master's degree in "Economics" in 1998, and a PhD in "Economics" in 2006 from Mofid University .

He has also started seminary studies since 1981 in the seminary of Qom and has been participating in the courses of Advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Kharej-Fiqh and Usul) for many years.
