Nasser Elahi
Department of Economics
(1998-present)
Nasser Elahi, born in 1962 in Kerman, is an esteemed Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at MU. He has an impressive academic background, holding a Bachelor's degree in "Theoretical Economics" from Mofid University, a Master's degree in "Economics" from the University of Tehran, and a PhD in "Economics" from Imam Sadiq University. Additionally, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, US, focusing on "Ethics and Economics".
Furthermore, Nasser has demonstrated his commitment to continuous learning and deepening his understanding of Islamic Jurisprudence through his engagement in seminary studies at the Seminary of Qom since 1979. This dedication is further highlighted by his participation in courses of Advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Kharej-Fiqh and Usul) starting from 1990. His academic and practical experiences make him an invaluable asset to the field of Economics.
